Heston Blumenthal and Executive Chef Ashley Palmer-Watts explore Britain’s gastronomic past to revive and modernize traditional recipes. We have opened with the highest approval from food critics, see our reviews. Recipes date back to the 14th Century with the year of origin detailed on the menu, along with the recipe book it was sourced from. Heston takes each dish and with playful creativity gives you his 21st Century interpretation such as Meat Fruit, a chicken liver parfait presented as a perfect Mandarin fruit. The restaurant is luxuriously spacious; the modern design opens the room to the skies and embraces the green expanse of Hyde Park. Historical craftsmanship works with witty contemporary details. During the summer months we open our terrace; directly overlooking Hyde Park this is one of London’s finest al fresco dining locations. A private dining room seats up to 10 guests and a chef’s table located in the kitchen seats six.

Mandarin Bar

This bar has theater. Think leather armchairs, mohair, marble, glass, mirrors and wood. The walls are lined in beige silk with showcases displaying handcrafted cocktail glasses and ornamental barware. This is the bar to be seen in and has been voted one of the top ten bars in town by London’s Evening Standard.

The actual bar is a catwalk. No bottles are on full view but you can catch a glimpse of them through the frosted and backlit glass walls behind which the attentive and gracious staff prepare drinks and mix the finest cocktails.

Then there’s the room within a room for those who partake in the odd cigar. You can choose from 45 varieties and enjoy your selection in the comfort of a deep soft leather chair. A state-of-the-art air conditioning system means that cigar smoke does not make its way into the main bar area, but, because there are no walls, the ambience will still make its way to you.

The Aubrey London

The Aubrey is a home-away-from-home for local London and global guests alike that offers an eccentric Japanese izakaya experience. Drinks lie at the heart of this izakaya, with Bar Director Pietro Rizzo’s carefully crafted signature and seasonal cocktails being served alongside Japanese dishes.

The Aubrey takes you on an adventure of innovative cocktails, Japanese flavours and Asian ingredients. It is here that you can experience the energy of a night out in Ginza through exceptional drinks offered at its distinctive bar, and London’s first ever omakase cocktail experience. An outstanding interpretation of traditional izakaya dishes are served nightly and at the free-flowing weekend brunches. Live DJs perform late into the night on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at weekend brunch service, adding to the vibrant setting.
